The Journey – “One day you finally knew what you had to do, and began,” Mary Oliver
I was given the most incredible gift while I was reaching the end of my breast cancer journey in late 2025; a tree decorated in pink ornaments, set off by twinkling lights, topped with angel wings, complete with a sparkling brooch and velvety wrap. It was called the “Angel Tree of Triumph.” From that moment forward, it ignited in me a purpose to do more, give more, be more, for its symbolism was a powerful reminder of hope, charity and faith to the people who created it and momentum to share with others who too may find peace in its message.
